The BBQ will be held at the Lake County Historical Society again this year. Party starts at 3:00 with BBQ being served around 5. The address is 415 Riverside Drive, Painesville TWP, 44077. For those not familiar with the area it is just two drives north of Riverside High School. It is a private property on over eight acres with plenty of parking and room to set up tents. The cost of the BBQ will again be $30/person the day of or $25/person if paid by July 1st. This is an all-inclusive event so come hungry and thirsty. We are excited to have booked Dan “Woody” Dailey and The Hardcore Troubadours for our afternoon entertainment and Sumrada will close things out in the evening. As always, we will have a Chinese raffle with many great prizes, and this year instead of the pre-sale raffle tickets we will be doing a 50/50 raffle the day of the event with the winner announced around 9. There is also an unconfirmed report of a liquor table prize in the raffle again this year. We can only hope this rumor to be true. Included in the costs of the BBQ and golf will be donation’s to multiple local charities in memory of Kenny. Everybody is welcome to pitch a tent and encouraged to do so. Please don’t drink and drive! This will be an adult only event so try to book a babysitter soon. If anybody would like to donate their time, we can use some help on a variety of tasks so please email Dan Staebler if you’re available.

Golf Outing

Golfing Scotsman

The golf outing will be held at Lost Nation Golf Course in Willoughby off of Lost Nation Rd with a t-time of 8:00 am sharp. Please know that last year’s delay was because one of the mowers broke down on a green so don’t use that as an excuse to show up at 8:30. We were ready at 8:00 am to tee off so please make sure you’re there no later than 7:30. All groups from last year will have first shot at a spot this year. In order to be guaranteed your groups spot, payment for your foursome must be paid by Friday June 21st. If your group is not paid by then, we will accept new groups on a first pay first serve basis. Payment must be paid in full in the amount of $320. Partial payments will not be accepted. Please have the captain of your team contact Dan Staebler or Jay White if there any questions. Also please let us know if you know for sure that your team will not be able to make it this year.

The golf dinner this year will be held at The Happy Moose Bar and Grill (the old Cleats) on Route 306 and Route 2. This is only one mile away from Lost Nation and right by the freeway so we think this will be a big convenience to the golfers. Dinner and one drink will be included in the cost and they will also have drink specials for us. We will be announcing all the prize winners here this year so as soon as you finish with the golf your team will need to turn in your scorecard at the pavilion and then head right up to the Moose. I would like to take a second to thank Toth’s Place for the many great years of hosting the after party. You guys have been amazing and extremely accommodating! We will be forever grateful for your contributions over the years!
